Allow me to help share some insights about the task window in QBO.
At this time, we don't have the option yet to delete an entire task reminder on your dashboard. What we can do is open the forms, deselect the file electronically and click the Archive tab.
Having the option to delete an overdue task reminder would be a great add-on to our features. I'd recommend sending this as product suggestion so our Product Developers can look into this request and consider adding it to our future updates.
