Cancelling or suspending payroll service?

I do not have any employees in my business anymore (last one stopped this month Oct 2018).

Is there a way to cancel or suspend the monthly service?   Will Quickbooks still take care of all the forms for 2018 with IRS that will be required to be filed next year?

You can ask them (we are not them) but my thought is you might need it still in place through December at least and possibly through January when forms are filed. That's if you are intent on continuing with Full Service.

If you downgrade to Enhanced for one month that puts you in charge of all form creation and submission And payments and since forms are available free or nominal charge you can be in control

Yes, you can directly cancel your payroll subscription inside QBO, Raj.

If you cancel your payroll today, you can resubscribe for a month next year so you can file your tax forms to the IRS.

Here's how to cancel payroll:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, click Account and Settings.
  3. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab on the left panel.
  4. In the Payroll section, click Cancel.
  5. Select Continue to cancel.
  6. Complete the short survey and click Confirm cancel.

When you're ready to resubscribe, you can follow the steps in this article to help you: Cancel your Intuit Online Payroll and QuickBooks Online Payroll services. You can find the steps in the Reactivate payroll subscription section.

If you have bundle QBO with Payroll subscription (you should see one billing amount only), I'd suggest contacting QuickBooks Online Support Team to handle this for you. Here's the link so you can contact them: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1145770.
