Desktop Payroll not updating

I know this hasn't been easy for you and your employee. I'm here to ensure you get pointed in the right direction, @bcusa24.

 

I appreciate you performing each of my colleague's troubleshooting steps. 

 

Since you're still encountering issues updating Desktop Payroll, I recommend reaching our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up the account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.

 

You can reach them while you're using QuickBooks.

 

Here's how:

  1. In your top menu bar, go to Help, then QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern, then hit Continue.
  4. Choose to Get a callback.

Desktop Payroll not updating

The solution seems to be sending an empty payroll to Intuit. That syncs things up or something. Several people describe this solution in the comments before yours in this thread (and they all agree that the official recommendations in this thread didn't help).

I had the same issue you are having regarding the taxes.  You need to "Send Payroll Data" under the Employees drop down.  You should do this after every payroll.  Your program gets stopped-up when there is too much payroll data to transfer.  Really irritating, but apparently QB has not fixed it yet.

I am too!  I was on the phone yesterday for 8+ hours with QB help team with no success.  We have tried EVERY ONE of these things and NO resolve.  Last thing the CARE team member said would she needs to send the file somewhere bc my Company file must be corrupt.  However after being on with her personally 3 HOURS we got disconnected.  SHE NEVER called back to finish up.  Our payroll too, is due This evening And NO ONE has answers how to fix this!! This is ridiculous for the money we pay monthly!!!

Can you please give me a call to exactly explain, how you got yours to work by "send information" where you print check stubs?!  I been on phone 8 HOURS yesterday with QB/Intuit and it was USELESS!  NO One was any Help and I need to run payroll TODAY, too!  [Removed by moderator]
