Did anyone else have payroll that didn’t process today 9/2/2022

Payroll may be one of the most important aspects of running a business. I want to make sure you're able to process yours without a hitch.

Making sure you're employees payroll checks get processed in time depends on the lead times. For QuickBooks Online Payroll lead times include: same-day, next-day (1-day), 2-day, and 5-day.

For example, if you're using the same-day lead time payroll would need to be submitted Friday before 7 AM PT. Or for next-day, payroll would need to be submitted Thursday before 5 PM PT. The following article provides additional info about paying your employees on time.

a-foltz: I see that you posted this at 6:20 am, which was probably too early in the day for your payroll to have processed. This happened to me a while back, and people were alarmed, thinking that I hadn't submitted payroll early enough for everyone to be paid on payday. I remained calm, and sometime shortly before 8:00 am, I was informed that payroll had processed.  (-:
