Hello there, @kay1219.
Let me share with you some information when filing 1099.
If you already process your 1099 through E-file, you’ll receive an email. You’ll also get another email once IRS received it. I suggest logging in to Electronic Federal Tax Payment (EFTPS) to confirm.
Also, you can log in to 1099 E-File Service and access archived or previously filed 1099 forms.
I recommend downloading or printing copies of your 1099s for record-keeping purposes.
You can check out this article for more information when filing 1099: Create and file 1099s using QuickBooks Online.
Please feel free to leave a message if you need further assistance. I'm always here to help. Enjoy your day!

Thank you! I'm embarrassed to admit that later in the day, I found the receipt in my inbox. I appreciate the detailed response!
I filed 1099s for 11 companies. I have email receipts for 10, but am missing one. I have searched all folders, spam, trash, etc, but no luck. How can I get another email or copy of my receipt?
Thanks for joining in this conversation, @kay1219. I understand the need to ensure your contractors receive their 1099s.
As mentioned by my peer above, you can get the copay of your filed 109 by logging in to Electronic Federal Tax Payment (EFTPS).
You can also log in to 1099 E-File Service to access archived or previously filed 1099 forms.
For future reference, you can follow Steps 5 of this article if you want to know if the IRS received your submission: Create and file 1099s using QuickBooks Online.

How long does it usually take to receive an email from the IRS ? I've processed mine over 10 days ago and only have the receipt of payment email from intuit.
I'm not looking for the email confirming the 1099 filing with the IRS. I need the email receipt showing how much I paid to file with my credit card. To get reimbursed for my out-of-pocket expense, I need to submit proof of payment.
Hello there, @RHJ. I can share some insights with regards to your e-filing 1099 in QuickBooks Online.
If you want to see your 1099 payment, I suggest contacting your bank. They know when the transaction will clear. Once the transaction has been completed, you will be able to request a proof of payment from your bank.

I am searching for my Intuit 1099 emails for this year. I only see prior years. I see on my credit card that I was charged the payment but I don't know what client it was for. There must be a way to see these payments to QB for 1099s in my QB accountant, right? I really hope someone can help with this.
Hello there, @mmdevost. I want to ensure you'll be able to find the receipt of your filing payment in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Once you process your 1099 through E-filing services in QBO, you'll receive an email. Then, after the IRS received the forms, you'll get another email confirmation from them. You can also sign in to Electronic Federal Tax Payment (EFTPS) to verify the submission.
On the other hand, you can log in to your 1099 E-File Service to access the payments made for 1099.
If you have any other concerns about processing the 1099, please don't hesitate to leave a reply below. I'd be glad to provide additional assistance. Have a good one and stay safe.
ok, i have checked all my companies that i efiled my 1099's. All say mailed. But i have only received one email that the irs has accepted from 1 company? and how do i know i have been charged by QB for all my filings?
Achavez333, thank you for participating in the discussion. I'll answer any questions you may have regarding your 1099 e-filing.
It's possible that the IRS has received your forms from your other companies but is still processing and reviewing them. Additionally, customers who have submitted their 1099 E-File forms will receive a confirmation email approximately a week after the IRS accepts and confirms submissions. You may not receive this confirmation until the middle of January or later.
You can look up a charge in your billing history to know if you've been charged by QuickBooks for all your filings. Know that the charges depend on your payroll plan or contractor payment types. Check out these articles for your guidance:
