Is there anyone that can go on line or call me to help me refile w2 and w3 to state of illinois and feds. I E Filed everything then my account told me I needed to include my employees yearly health care cost. It was the first year we provide and didn't realize I needed to do

If you need to fix something on an employee's W-2, the process will depend on which payroll service you're using. In the event you're using an Enhanced payroll subscription, you can create your W-2c and print it on perforated paper (not pre-printed), then file the form manually with the Social Security Administration (SSA).

 

Here's how:
 

  1. In your top menu bar, go to Employees, then Payroll Center.
  2. Access the File Forms tab.
  3. Go to Annual form W-2c/W-3c - corrected Wage and Tax Statement, then click Create Form and choose your employee's last name.
  4. Hit OK, then pick the employee(s) who need a W-2c.
  5. Click Review/Edit and answer your Have you made the W-2 corrections in QuickBooks Desktop? question, then review each page and press Next as needed.
  6. Tick your Check if this is a W-2c (corrected W-2) checkbox.
  7. Fill in only the lines that need to be fixed in both the Previously Reported and Correct Information columns. Do this for Federal, State, and local info as needed.
  8. Remove your amounts from the remaining lines. Right-click on the amounts and select Override, then delete them. Do this for Federal, State, and local as needed.

I called as instructed. Lady asked me to hold on and 20 minutes later phone line was disconnected with no reply
