Buy nowIs there an authorization form that I need to have my client sign before I process his w2 w3 e-file and 1099s /1096??
Appreciate any assistance on this.
Thank you
Hello, @rlaw.
Let me share some insights about the authorization forms that you are about to file for your client.
When filing Form W3 for your client, it's important to keep in mind that there are certain scenarios where you don't need to file it. If you use our payroll services and file your W2 forms electronically, or if we file them for you, then you can skip the Form W3 altogether. Additionally, it's worth noting that whether or not you need to file Form W2 depends on the filing method you choose. I hope this information helps you streamline your filing process and saves you time and effort.
Moreover, you don't need to include the authorization post when filing your 1099 and 1096 forms. This should make the process easier and more streamlined for you.

I don't think so. I've never heard of one.
Notably, when you e-file there is no W-3 or 1096.
