E-filing MD WH, Site Down for Annual Maintenance for a Week

I didn't think QB was making it up - Maryland performs maintenance on their website every year at this time and it is so frustrating.  I had been trying to file my 4th quarter Maryland Withholding Taxes every day since the 6th, and every day it said to come back the following day.  I was aggravated - sorry, BigRedConsulting!   I appreciate your time!

I submitted the payment at the state website.

The IRS or state websites may do annual system maintenance in preparation for tax season. During that time, filing and paying taxes may not be possible electronically.

If this happens, you can make your tax payment through their website. It's a good thing you've done this to avoid penalties. May I know if you encounter some issues during submission? Any information can assist me in finding a solution.

Oh My Gosh!  Why didn't I think of that?  Thanks so much for posting this, Howard!  Every year, it never fails, I'm trying to file all of my taxes and the state of Maryland's site is down for maintenance.  I've never tried your option before - thanks so much for the suggestion!!!
