Employee Profile

Hello,

Is there a way I could see an employee's profile change history? For example, change of information, email, phone number, etc.

@184994  As far as I'm aware, the only changes to an employee you can track in QB would be the Payrate adjustments.

It is under the Reports menu, Employees & Payroll, Employee Pay Adjustments History.

There may be some third party add-on that will do what you want, but as far as reports native to QB, I don't think you can track address and e-mail changes.

In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), viewing an employee's profile change history is unavailable. I suggest submitting feedback to request that our developers consider adding this feature. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Choose the Send Feedback Online option
  3. Select Product Suggestion from the list. A pop-up window will appear.
  4. Enter your feedback suggestion into the provided field.
  5. Click the Send Feedback button to submit your suggestion.

In the meantime, you can use the manual record, where you document changes to employee information in the form of a spreadsheet or simple documents.

Consider also using a third-party application that integrates with QBDT, which offers more detailed employee tracking, including change history.

After submitting feedback, I included an article where you can customize the data, add or delete columns, remove information, and even personalize the font and style of the report: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
