Form 940 for 2018
I am trying to find an address on mailing in Form 940. It says on the last page that there would be another page with the address that we can mail the form. Do you know how I would find that page? I use Quickbooks Online.

Hi there, @chendricks1978,
I’m glad you’ve reached out to us here in the Community.
The filing address may have changed for your 940 tax returns which is due on January 31, 2019. This is the possible reason why the address isn’t showing on the last page when mailing it.
Since you want to mail the form 940 to the correct mailing address, I’d suggest looking over to the IRS website. Here’s how:
- Go to https://www.irs.gov/filing/where-to-file-your-taxes-for-form-940.
- Find your state location.
- You can choose to mail the form with or without payment to the appropriate filing address.
For more details about the instructions for form 940, you can refer to the IRS article: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i940.pdf.
If you wish to e-file this form in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP), you can enroll to electronically pay federal taxes and filing tax forms, such as 940.
The steps above will help you stay compliant with filing your form 940, @chendricks1978. If you need any further help, please add a comment below. I’m here to help you out. Have an awesome day!
