Form W-2/W-3 Transmittal Delay

Since the forms were e-filed on January 23, 2026, through TurboTax Enhanced Payroll, you have to contact them directly to confirm the processing timeframe and status. Currently, we don't have a specific timeframe for when exactly the submission will be successfully processed. There can be delays during peak filing times, such as late January, due to high submission volumes and occasional data validation challenges.

For follow-ups, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Payroll live support team. They can use their specialized tools to verify if the process was successful.

Here's how to reach them:

1. Head to the Help menu in the upper right of your screen. 
2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us. 
3. Click the Contact Us option. 
4. Enter your concern in the box, then hit Continue. 
5. Enter your QuickBooks login credentials. 
6. Choose Callback.

Thanks for the advice.  I was just informed via Help/chat that it "will take 4-6 weeks" for confirmation by SSA/IRS to be processed.  (I thought DOGE was supposed to have IMPROVED efficiency)
