Fringe benefits

Moved my file to QBO but having problem adding Fringe Benefit payment.  

 

We give our employees credit on their veterinary accounts so I need to add that in as Fringe Benefit but it appears that QBO online is very limited to what Fringe Benefits are allowed?  Is this correct?

At the moment, these are the several fringe benefits you can set up in QBO. 

 

 

For now, the program doesn't support any other fringe benefits. I can see how this option would be beneficial for your business. Thus, I'll take note of this as a suggestion to improve your experience in QuickBooks.

I see that you'd like to add a different Fringe Benefit in QuickBooks, @ShaHer.

 

QuickBooks provides a selection of preset fringe benefits that you can easily choose from. Here are some of the options available:

 

 

At this time, QuickBooks Online Payroll doesn't support any other fringe benefits beyond the ones already available.

 

This is a valuable consideration, and I'm here to discuss how we can address this to enhance our service. While it's currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online, we're actively looking into ways to implement such a feature in the future.

 

To ensure it receives attention from our product engineers, I suggest using the feedback option, enabling us to enhance the program's features accordingly.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Click Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. 
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

 

You can also review this article to help you report fringe benefits on your paycheck before the end of the calendar year. This ensures that the fringe benefit is taxed correctly and reflected accurately on your employees' W-2 statements: Create and run your payroll.
