Glitch in payroll setup

QBO Payroll Set Up - upon completing step 2 "taxes", I get a blank page next which should be the screen to enter prior payrolls, step 3. It will not give me that page and I am stuck and cannot process payroll. HELP!!! I have cleared my cache and history. I have also tried Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I have tried converting employee's salaries to hourly. Nothing is working. I cannot get to Step 3!!! HELP

Glitch in payroll setup

I want you to be successful in setting up your payroll without delay, @robbin3.

The steps you've taken are a good starting point to fix the blank page. I appreciate you for doing that. I have another solution that will help resolve the issue in setting up the QuickBooks Online Payroll account.

Ensure that the browsers you use are supported in QuickBooks. This way, you can get rid of the blank page and set up the payroll seamlessly. These are the following supported browsers on both web and mobile devices:

Google Chrome: version 78 or newer

Mozilla Firefox: version 76 or newer Note: To preview and print forms on Mac OS, you'll also need the Firefox PDF plugin.

Microsoft Edge: version 75 or newer

Safari: version 12 or newer (Mac only)

Opera: version 68 or newer

Samsung: version 10 or newer

For more information, click this link: System requirements for QuickBooks Online, Accountant, Payroll, and QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can further investigate the blank page issue in a safe place and help you from there.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu, then click Contact Us
  2. Type your concern in the box and tap Let's talk
  3. Choose either Get a call or Start a chat
  4. Complete the required data and submit the request.

Make sure to contact them within business hours to ensure a swift response.

Once resolved, you may visit these links below to help you enter the prior payroll and convert the salaried employee to hourly:
