Welcome to the Community space, Karen. I'm here to help you resolve the issue of your missing payroll in QuickBooks.
First, could you let me know if you recently changed your payroll bank account? If so, it’s possible that the payroll transaction was processed using a different bank account, which explains why it isn’t appearing in the reconciled bank account. To check this, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Employees section under Payroll.
- Click on the Paycheck list.

- Locate the transaction and click it.
- Check the Paid from section to see which bank account was used.

If you haven’t changed the bank account, it’s worth checking the Audit Log to see if the transaction was deleted. Here's how:
- Click on the Gear icon
- Select Audit Log.
- Filter the User, Date Changed, and Events.

If confirmed that it's not deleted, try accessing your account using an incognito window to determine if it’s a browser-related issue. Incognito mode doesn’t store cache files that might cause problems with web-based programs. Here are the shortcut keys you can use for incognito mode:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari: Command + Shift +N
If this works, clear the cache of your regular browser to remove any accumulated data. Alternatively, you might want to try using a different supported browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari, as the one you're currently using may be experiencing temporary issues.
