how can i archive/delete members when it doesnt give me the option

i may have accidentally inputted duplicate member (new hire), and how i cant get it to delete/archive/merge the duplicate employee. how can get do this

The option to merge employees in QuickBooks Online is unavailable because each record is tied to a specific Social Security Number. This restriction helps prevent payroll tax filing errors.

To delete a duplicate employee, open the employee's profile and click the three-dot menu next to Permissions, then select Delete employee.

If it doesn't appear as expected, try using an incognito window or a different browser to rule out any display errors.
