How can I give my bookkeeper access to my mileage records?

I'll provide you with an alternative way on how we can achieve your goal, thomasrsja-gmail.

In QuickBooks Online, only the master administrator can view the mileage recorded. This is because it contains sensitive financial and tax-related information that should only be accessible to authorized personnel.

As a workaround, you'll want to manually export the trips. Then, send the file to your bookkeeper so they can review the details. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Mileage menu.
  2. Click the Add trip drop-down menu.
  3. Choose Download Trips.

I know how convenient to have a customizable access right you can give to the auditor or accountant. This way, they'll be able to directly manage your business miles and traveling expenses.

We aim to find new ways to make sure that our software meets all our customers' needs and expectations. I recommend sending feedback to our Product Development Team to help improve your experience.

  1. Tap the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your product comments in the description box.
  4. Hit Next to submit your inputs.

Finally, feel free to check this article for more tips in recording trips for one or more vehicles: Automatically track mileage.
