We are trialing out the Quickbook Plus online version and I could not find setup as you mentioned above.

The option to change the method in calculating your employees' salary in QuickBooks Online International version is unavailable since it doesn't have a payroll built-in feature.
What you can do is to manually calculate each employee's hourly rate multiply by the number of days to get their monthly salary.
