How do I change the start pay date for all employees to be February 9? Also, how do I pay my truck drivers since they are per load hauling fuel from Nevada to California?

You’ll want to manually adjust their pay schedule, @useroperations.

Let me show you how in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

1. Go to the Payroll menu.
2. Select the Employees tab.
3. Locate and select your preferred employee.
4. Select the Pencil (edit) icon beside Pay.
5. Go to the How often do you want to pay this employee section and click the Pencil icon.
6. Select February 9, 2021, as the start pay date of your employee. 
7. Thick the Use this pay schedule for the employees you add after this one box. This way, the next time you add an employee they have the same pay schedule.
8. Enter the needed details and click Save.
9. Do the same thing to your other employees.

In regards to your truck drivers, you’ll want to pay them through a commission. A commission is a form of compensation that is based on your employee's performance. To be guided on how to enter this accordingly, check out this article for reference: Pay employees a commission.
