Let me show you how to update the SUI employer tax rate, @Nnelsondaniel1.

You can directly go to the Payroll Settings and update the rate there.

Here are the steps to edit the state unemployment rate in QBO:

  1. Go to the Gear icon⚙, then select Payroll settings.
  2. Select the State Taxes - TX.
  3. In the State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) Setup section, click Change or Add new rate.
  4. Enter your new rate and provide the Effective Date provided in the notice from your state.
  5. Select OK.

Check this article for more details about updating your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate in QuickBooks or Intuit Payroll.

You can also see the following reference to know more about the 2021 wage bases and limits and how to update them: Payroll tax wage bases and limits.

The range of rates is now .23-6.23. QBO still believes that the range is .31-6.31. How can we get QBO to fix this error. [email address removed]
