How do I know my 2023 taxes are finished?

Hello there,

I'm here to help you check your filing status to ensure you've completed your tax filing for 2023.

Ensuring that you've filed your taxes before the official deadline is important to avoid penalties. Once you've e-filed your return, it's considered pending. After the IRS processes your return, it'll either be accepted or rejected.

Once you submit your return in TurboTax Online, you'll see its status on the Tax menu of your account. You'll also receive emails about any changes to your e-file status. Additionally, you can use the IRS tool Where's My Refund to check if your e-filed return has been received.

If you don't see an e-file status for your return in TurboTax Online, you may have filed your return in a different account or using a different method.

For more info on checking your e-file status, please refer to this article: How do I check my e-file status?

After completing your taxes, here's a guide to running financial reports to get an overview of your estimated tax payments: Get quarterly and annual tax info from QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If you have any other concerns about filing your taxes, feel free to leave a reply below. I'll be right here to help you out.
