How do I trouble shoot why my payroll did not post?

I ran payroll on Wednesday but my employees did not get paid. How do I see if there were any errors?

How do I trouble shoot why my payroll did not post?

Hi @kimm6,

We were alerted to a third-party issue with direct deposit processing this morning that has delayed the deposit of employees' paychecks into their accounts. The issue has been resolved and your employees should expect to see the funds available in their bank account by end of the day today.

We know how critical each paycheck is to your team. This is, even more, the case in our current environment. Thank you for your patience as we focus to ensure your employees’ funds are available as soon as possible.

How do I trouble shoot why my payroll did not post?

I called Quickbooks and (after several button pushes and some waiting) there was an automated message stating they are aware of the problem and working on it (or similar). Doesn't really help anyone. There is an estimated hour and a half (and probably longer) wait time to talk to someone- same for chat or waiting for a call back.

Hi there, @shr08.

We understand how important it is for you to pay your employees on time. As I check on the Community page, I can see other posters are also sharing the same experience at the moment. Rest assured, your employees will receive their pay within today. Also, we've already informed our product engineers about this behavior to check on it the soonest.

You can also subscribe for any updates so you'll be notified if the issue has been resolved.
