Hi there, @Bradbury Julia123.
Let me help you track changes in your QuickBooks Online account using the audit log.
The audit log records account activity such as user sign-ins, changes to QuickBooks settings, edits to customers, vendors, employees, and payroll submissions.
Here's how to access it:
- Click the Gear icon.
- Under Tools, select Audit log.
Once you're there, you can review the Events column to track payroll activity. If you want to view specific event details, click on View under the History column.
However, please note that the audit log is currently unable to track specific changes to an employee's pay rate. It only records payroll information such as adding a payroll check and editing a payroll check. As a workaround, you can pull up a Paycheck History report to acquire the details you need. This way, you'll be able to view the pay rates from each paycheck of your employees.
- Go to the Reports menu and then the Payroll section.
- Select Paycheck History.
- Click the employee's name.
- Adjust the reporting period.

You might want to personalize your reports to show specific details. You can find a detailed guide here: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
