How do you turn off the popup offers that you get after every single save or button press

Currently, we're unable to turn off the pop-up ads in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This prompt is meant to suggest you on how to work with QuickBooks. This way, we can optimize your QBO experience. However, we can simply click the button so it won't appear every time you save or press the button.

 

In the meantime, I encourage checking our QuickBooks Blog from time to time to stay current with the latest feature available in QBO.

I have the exact same question except with Enterprise Solutions.  Virtually every one of our users gets them and many have very limited accounting backgrounds.  Most should not have the ability to install any add-ons or new services.  This issue has gotten many times worse over the past 2 weeks.  Checking the box "Turn off pop-up messages for products and services" does not have any noticeable effect on these pop-ups.

Turning off the pop-up message should stop the ads from showing. We'd like to investigate what happened, Thus, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support. They can check your account in a secure environment to know what's causing this issue.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the Help menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact Us
  4. Enter a brief description that the ads still show after disabling them. 
  5. Select Continue
  6. Choose to Let's talk and then choose a way to connect.
