How l can make pay roll

Welcome to the Community, sun. I’ll be delighted to share the steps to produce and send out your payroll in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you’re done creating a pay schedule for your employees, we can start creating their paychecks and send their payroll to get them paid. Therefore, we’ll need to create your direct deposit or paper paychecks to send them to us for processing.

There are two ways we can send your payroll. Either we can create a scheduled or an unscheduled payroll. So when we say scheduled payroll, this is when we regularly provide paychecks to our employees. For unscheduled payroll, this is when we create paychecks to pay employees’ compensations outside our regular payroll schedule.

To begin, we can follow these guidelines to create regularly scheduled paychecks:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and select Employees.
  2. From there, tap the Run payroll to start. Then, select your desired payroll schedule, and click Continue.
  3. Review the Pay period and pay date, and select the employees you’d like to pay.
  4. Select the column or Actions, then press Edit Paycheck to enter your pay details. Once you’re done entering the necessary paycheck information, you can select Preview Payroll.
  5. Review the Bank account to track your payroll transaction. After that, select Preview payroll details or Submit payroll. Then, click Close.

If you prefer to create an unscheduled payroll, you can go over to this article and refer to Step 2: Create your paychecks and send your payroll on the Create and send an unscheduled payroll section of your product: Create and run your payroll.

Moreover, QuickBooks provides several payroll reports that offer a detailed view of your employee's gross pay, deductions, and tax data. To learn more about these reports and how to access them, you can visit this article: Run payroll reports.

You can always post if you have more concerns about processing payroll or any QuickBooks-related matters. I’m just a post away, and take care!
