How to delete a payroll entry not yet sent (scheduled)

I have a payroll payment I want to delete.  It is DD and should be a check.

When I go to Paycheck list for the employee, the Status is "Scheduled".  When I select that paycheck, I do not have a "delete" option, only "print".

How do I delete the paycheck?

NVM, solved.  The instructions are incorrect.

I need to click on the status link, then there is a dropdown allowing me to make an adjustment, delete or void.

Help page should be updated./

How to delete a payroll entry not yet sent (scheduled)

I see you want to delete a paycheck in QuickBooks Online, @dLearned. I'm here to share some insights about the process.

If the payment cancellation deadline has gone, your employees will typically get the money in their bank accounts on payday. I advise canceling the payment and asking your employee to reimburse you.

If not, you may submit a request for a direct deposit reversal.

Furthermore, I recommend sending us your suggestions on how we can make our help page more effective. Our product development team wants to make sure your QBO experience is better for you. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your product suggestions.
  3. Once done, hit Next to submit feedback.

You can keep track of the feature request updates by visiting our webpage: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online.
