How to edit paid time off policy?

Warm welcome, vanessa. I see the convenience of being able to delete the old time off-pay policies.

While it's advantageous to delete old paid time-off policies to ensure that only the latest or preferred ones are visible, this functionality is currently unavailable. Therefore, I recommend sending feedback to our product development team. They'll carefully review your suggestions and may consider implementing them in future updates.

To submit your suggestions or ideas:

  1. Hover to the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Type in your recommendations for product enhancements or feature additions.
  3. Select Next to submit.

We truly appreciate your valuable input, which helps us improve our product.

For future reference, you can run a payroll report to get a comprehensive overview of your company's payroll expenditures, including employee wages, incentives, taxes, and other associated expenses.

Enter your response by clicking the reply button below. I'm always here to support you if you require further clarification and information regarding paid time-off policies.

How to edit paid time off policy?

Thank you for joining this thread and for inquiring about the Paid time off (PTO) policy feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO), dlindsay21. I understand you're specifically interested in editing and removing existing PTO policies that have been added to the system. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and I'm here to provide you with the most up-to-date information.

Currently, you can edit a PTO policy after it has been created and used in payroll, which offers more flexibility in managing your employees' time off. However, the option to delete a PTO policy is still unavailable at this time.

We highly value your feedback on this matter, and I encourage you to share your thoughts and recommendations with our product development team. Your input is crucial in shaping future improvements of QuickBooks.

Here’s how you can submit your suggestion:

  1. In the upper right corner, click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Type your suggestion and click Submit Feedback.

To stay informed about the latest product enhancements and features, I recommend regularly checking our QuickBooks Online Blog.

Additionally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your company's payroll costs, it can be helpful to generate a payroll report. This report can provide detailed insights into various aspects of your payroll, such as employee salaries, bonuses, tax withholdings, and other related expenses.

Our product development team carefully analyzes and prioritizes these to ensure our updates align with your needs and expectations. If you encounter any other challenges or have additional suggestions, post a reply below. We're here to support you and ensure you have the best experience with QuickBooks.
