How to fix? FUTA payment, can't pay, can't remove. I am showing about a $40 FUTA payment due 1/31/20. Attempt to create payment "We have recalculated, no payment due."

It's great to see a new face here in the Community. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies will help resolve the message saying that your FUTA payment is due. This will allow QuickBooks to load as a fresh new page to remove any errors or glitches within the product. Here's how to in Google Chrome: 

 

  1. Log out of your QuickBooks account. 
  2. Go to the Three Vertical Dots in the top right-hand corner of Google Chrome. 
  3. Select History and then History again. 
  4. Press Clear Browsing Data.
  5. In the "Time Range" section, pick All Time
  6. Tap Clear Data

 

Afterward, log back into your account.

This has been going on for months, through multiple instances of clearing the cache.  While I appreciate the suggestion, that isn't it.

 

As it turns out, I was frustrated enough to click the "call me" link and he helpful person at intuit fixed it in about a minute.  No idea what was done, but at least I don't have  the "tax payment 139 days past due" glaring at me every time I log in, and then politely explaining that there is nothing to pay.
