Hello there, c3pix. Creating pay stubs before running payroll is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
While the program generates official pay stubs only after you finalize payroll, consider using the Preview payroll function. This feature lets you double-check your employee's pay, including the hours worked, current pay rates, deductions, and benefits, so you can make adjustments if needed.
