Let me guide you on accessing QuickBooks Online using the mobile app. You'll need to install the QuickBooks Online mobile app from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Search for QuickBooks Online Accounting app and install it.
After installing, ensure your employer invites you as a user in their QuickBooks Online account. If you're already a user, you can open the QuickBooks Online mobile app using the credentials you created.
Additionally, you can ask your employer to invite you to the Workforce so you can see how your employer is paying you.

I already have that app installed and I logged in
I was already invited to view my pay stubs online. Is that the same thing? If so, I am unable to find them where to view my W2 and paystubs in the app.

There are two separate QuickBooks apps you can download on your mobile. Aside from the regular QBO app, there's an option to download the QuickBooks Workforce application. You can view your pay stubs, W-2s, and more through the QuickBooks Workforce app or web browser.
