I am trying find the EDD DE9 or DE6 form. Where would I find it?

Hi there, @graciela.dardon.

Thank you for joining the Community.  I'd be happy to help and show you how to find the EDD DE9 or DE6 form.

Please take note that the DE6 form is now called as the DE9C form.

Here's how to find them in QuickBooks Online:

  1. On the left pane, select Taxes
  2. At the top left, select Payroll Tax
  3. Under Forms, click the Quarterly Forms link.
  4. Find and select the form you want to open.

For additional information about this, I recommend checking these articles:

For additional help, feel free to reach out to our Phone Support. They have additional tools that can help you further.

That should do it. Feel free to drop a comment below if you have any other questions about DE9 or DE6 form. I'd be happy to help you out.

Forms are not populating in the payroll tax center (step 3).  Any other suggestions for finding the quarterly forms?

I appreciate you letting us know about this, @SusanT3,

All payroll forms in QuickBooks are accessible under the Payroll Tax menu. If the page is unresponsive or will not launch the option to view state returns, try opening your account in a private browser.

Sometimes, the data in the cache can cause unexpected issues in QuickBooks Online. To launch a private window, use any of the following keyboard shortcuts:

Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
Safari: press Command Shift N

Once logged in, follow these steps:

  1. Go back the the Payroll Tax tab and click Quarterly Forms link.
  2. The next window will show a list of forms you can pull up.
  3. Click the form you need and choose View.

If you're able to successfully pull up these reports in the incognito browser, go back to the regular window and clear its cache. This will help remove the piled data on the history, so you can start with a clean slate.

Let me know what you find after trying out the steps. I'll be right here if you need further assistance with payroll or anything in QuickBooks. Have a nice day!

Hi there!

They changed the Tax Center.

Go to "Archived Forms". You should be able to find those reports there.

I am trying find the EDD DE9 or DE6 form. Where would I find it?

Hi, am wondering if you can help. Been trying to get support from QBO and no one in phone support is able to assist nor connect me with the right tier of support. See screenshot below of an error message in QBO for a form due tomorrow.
How can I get hold of a capable QBO expert who can provide the help that QBO’s own error message says I should get?

Based on your post, you've added a screenshot of the error message, unfortunately, the file isn't added successfully. For now, you may want to leave a comment below for the said screenshot through a private window.

To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
