The issue occurs because QuickBooks supports either 3-part or 4-part W-2 forms, and the format you purchased (2-part W-2 forms) is not compatible with QuickBooks' predefined settings. As a result, QuickBooks is attempting to print three or four W-2s on one page, which doesn't align with the format of the 2-part forms.

 

To address this issue, I recommend returning the 2-part W-2 paper and purchasing 3-part or 4-part W-2 forms that are specifically designed for use with QuickBooks. These compatible forms ensure proper alignment for printing and allow QuickBooks to generate accurate W-2s without any formatting issues.
