Wage calcualtion is also based on the city, county, and Zip you've set up on your payroll setup, dcphillawncare.

We can correct your Local Tax Jurisdictions so the system will calculate the wages correctly. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Payroll Settings.
  2. Under Taxes, select Local Tax Jurisdictions.
  3. Select the local tax you want review and click the Edit button.
  4. Enter the correct City, County, and Zip.
  5. Click OK.

After that, you can try running a dummy payroll to see if the wages are calculated correctly.

You can also check out this link for the details of supported local taxes: QuickBooks Supported Local and Other Taxes.

Feel free to provide additional details if you need further assistance with this. Thanks in advance!
