I recognize the importance of having the correct payroll information for your employees in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
To ensure that her name appears correctly in Workforce and when you view the schedule, we can follow these steps to update the name:
Once you have made these updates, the employee's name should appear correctly in Workforce and when you view the schedule. You can also allow your employees to edit some of their personal and tax information, such as name, address, and W-4 information, through the QuickBooks Workforce.
I've added this article for more information about managing employee details: Edit or change employee info in payroll.
After you've successfully changed the employee's info, you can check out this link as a future reference in running payroll: Create and run your payroll.

Please re-read the question. I am having the same issue and the answer was not addressed.
The employee's name IS CORRECT in PAYROLL. It is INCORRECT in TIME ENTRIES. I was able to add a correct name, but now the correct and incorrect (typo) names are in Time Entries. The system is posting her time to the account with the incorrect spelling. I would like to move the time to the correct one and delete the incorrect one. THIS IS NOT IN PAYROLL - EMPLOYEES; only in TIME ENTRIES.
Thanks.
The details you've shared in this thread are helpful to me, Stacey. I have several ways to ensure the correct employee's name is linked to the time entries in QuickBooks Online Payroll, depending on the scenario that applies to you.
If this is the same employee whose name you've already corrected, the changes should automatically apply to all your timesheets (past and present entries). However, if the timesheets are still posting in the incorrect name after modifying the details, I recommend syncing the changes:
Alternatively, I suggest signing out of the program and then signing back to refresh the page and ensure all the updates apply.
Otherwise, if you've recreated the correct employee name on top of the incorrect one, I recommend manually editing the time entries to assign the right name. I'll show you how:
Once done, you can mark the employee profile with the incorrect name as inactive to prevent the system from using it for future transactions.
Additionally, I've added these resources to help you in approving, unapproving, or rejecting time entries and allow your team members to submit their timesheets for approval:
Let's hear your concerns if you have more questions about the QuickBooks Time service or when managing entries. My colleagues and I will chime in again and help you out.
