Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Community page, @alexgarza681.

The address that's showing up when printing 1099 form is the legal address that was set up under the Account and Settings. If you've changed the address under the Company address and the details are the same for the Legal Address, check the box beside Same as company address to copy the details. If not, enter the updated address on the Legal address section.

You can follow these steps for your detailed guide:

  1. After opening QuickBooks, click on the Gear icon, then Account and Settings.
  2. Under Account and Settings, tap on Company at the left pane.
  3. Hit the pencil icon beside the Address section.
  4. Modify the address under the Legal address so it'll print on the 1099 form correctly.
  5. Hit on Save, then Done.

Once completed, you should now be able to print the correct address on your form.

This does not correct the problem.  We relocated offices earlier this year and every line item was updated with the current address.  Processed 1099s step by step, reviewed list and it showed the correct Company name and address.  Then system asks if you're ready to file.  Hit yes, and submitted forms.  Screen then says successfully submitted, receipt emailed, and you can download or print your forms now.  AND GUESS WHAT?  OLD address is on 1099 forms.  Called Customer Service and was transferred 3 times (starting with payroll).  We don't use QB online payroll.  Was on phone (mostly holding for over 2 hours). Case was escalated to Advanced Support.  I asked if someone would be calling me back.  Was told, probably not.  Was advised to the call the IRS to discuss problem.  Googled, "Quickbooks 1099 wrong business address," and quickly discovered this programming issue has been going on for YEARS.  That's a clear indication of how little they care about the problems they are creating for their customers.
