I want to create an invoice using my employees' time but no way to tell which employee entered her time so I can't figure what rate to charge (varies by employee)

Hey there, @molly25.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support.

To clarify, are you using the customer/job feature? If not, I recommend using it, so when you export the data to QuickBooks, it will have the information you need. I've included the steps to set up customer/jobs below.

  1. Go to Jobs, then select Add Job.
  2. Key the name for the job, and, if desired, a shortcode.
  3. Click Save or hit enter on your keyboard to quickly add the next job.
  4. Tap Cancel or the X in the Add Job panel to stop adding jobs.

For additional details, check out Create and manage jobs or customers in QuickBooks Time.

However, if you do already have this set up in QuickBooks Time and you're experiencing this issue, can you please let me know in the comments how you have it set up? This way, I can determine the next steps in getting this resolved for you.

Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns. Take care and have a wonderful day!
