Importing IFF Files/ We were not able to import right now.. Try again later error

Let me give you some insights about importing files in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll, @Vivianalv.

At this time, IIF files aren't able to import into QBO. If you want to import your files to QBO, you can do so via a CSV file. You can look online for an IIF to CSV converter. Also, you may consider opening the IIF file on a blank Excel workbook and save it as a CSV file.

Meanwhile, if you are trying to import payroll transactions, this option is unavailable. As a workaround, you can enter it manually. Please refer to this article for more details: Manually enter payroll paychecks.

@Vivianalv

As another option you may prepare the historical payroll data in XLS and import them as JE.

Check your import data for double quotation marks -> " or any other kind of special characters, they can mess things up on import.
