You can only import the exported payroll transactions into your Quickbooks Desktop using an.IFF file. This format will allow for a smooth and accurate transfer of information, keeping your financial records synchronized perfectly.

Here's how:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Desktop.
2. Navigate to the File menu, then Utilities.
3. Select Import, then Import IIF.
4. Choose the IIF file you want to import, then select Open. Check your downloads folder to locate the.IIF file.
5. Select OK.

You will have difficulty converting your payroll data. I would recommend converting your data from QB Online Payroll to a third-party payroll application and integrating it with QB Desktop. They can help convert your data.
