Is anyone else experiencing employee needs profile updating before payroll can be run

Payroll will not let run until I update employee profile, Ive updated everything but it still won't let me run it. It worked fine last month.

Moreover, as there's no need for any modifications and the employee profile is already fully configured, let's do some basic troubleshooting steps. The system occasionally exhibits irregular behavior and performance issues due to browser-related problems.

 

Let's begin by rerunning the payroll using a private browsing window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Sh

 

If it's successful, return to your regular browser and clear your browser's history to start fresh. If not, you can utilize a different supported browser because the one you're using now may temporarily malfunction.

I am and I can't seem to get it to let me run my payroll for this month?  Its never done this before?  Any ideas?

I'll direct you in the right direction of support to get this sorted out so you can run payroll in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

Beforehand, may I ask if you have received an error message while attempting to run your payroll in QBO? Additional information about this will be much appreciated. 

 

Meanwhile, we can perform my colleague's suggested troubleshooting steps, mentioned on this thread to identify if this is a browser-related issue.  

 

However, if the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support team to pinpoint the issue's root cause. They utilize specific tools to access your account securely and assist you in managing your payroll effectively. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to Help (?).
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern, then choose Let's talk.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us:
      • Start a chat with a support expert.
      • Get a callback from the next available expert.

 nope it does not work, how frustrating I have employees that were supposed to be paid yesterday , I don't know why intuit can't be open on the weekends for support when its there software that does not work
