Is there a payroll adjustment report for quickbooks ONLINE? I see that there is one for the desktop version. Or how can I easily see payroll adjustments?

Just to clarify, what specific tax are you trying to adjust? If it’s for the state unemployment, yes, you can perform a payroll adjustment.

The process can easily be done with just a few clicks. Let’s go to the Payroll Settings to update the rate.

1. Go to the Gear icon at the top and choose Payroll Settings to open the Preferences page.
   
   
2. From there, navigate to the Taxes section and click the State Taxes-(your state) link.
   
   
3. This will take you to the Company State Tax Information screen.
4. Scroll down to the SUI section to press the Change or add a new rate link.
5. Next, type in the new rate in the field box and the date you want the changes to take effect.
   
   
6. Click OK to keep the changes.

Another page will open informing about the changes and choose the appropriate option to confirm the action.Then, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

If you’ll process an amended tax return, I suggest downloading the form your state’s website and then manually file it.

I also recommend running the Payroll Tax and Wage Summary Report to get the correct liability amount.

However, if it’s for another tax, I recommend reaching out to our QBO Payroll Team. They can perform the payroll correction in a secure space.

1. Choose the Help menu in the upper right hand to open the Search window.
2. From there, scroll down to click the Contact us link.
3. Type the issue/topic in the field box and then hit the Let’s talk button.
4. Select how you want to reach out to our support team: Start messaging or Get a callback.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm afraid that I wasn't clear. 

I'm looking for a way to see what changes have been made to pay rates for various employees over extended periods.   (When did they get raises?)

At this time, the option to see the pay adjustment history for the employees some time is only available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can view the changes in your employees' pay rate by manually opening their previous paychecks.

I understand the importance of this feature in QBO for you and your business. I'll take note of this and send feedback to our product engineers. This way, they'll be able to know our customer's needs and might consider the feature in the coming updates.
