Is there a way to set up emails when you have a state payroll tax payment due?

I have a client that keeps filing their NYS-1 payroll tax payments late. Is there a way to set up email notifications when a NYS-1 payment comes due?

Is there a way to set up emails when you have a state payroll tax payment due?

I have some information about the state tax notification. You can customize your email preferences to send reminders and tax payment notifications from the settings. Let me walk you through how.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Gear at the top. Select Payroll Settings.
  2. Tap the Emails link under Preferences.
  3. In the Tax payment reminders under Customize Email Preferences, choose either Accountant users, Client, or Both (see the added screenshot below).
  4. Do the same in the Tax Payment notifications section.
  5. Click OK.
