Is there an issue currently with new employees signing up for Workforce? I have two employees who are unable to register.

We have re-tried (deleted and then added again) and they have tried with both phone and computer.

Is there an issue currently with new employees signing up for Workforce? I have two employees who are unable to register.

Hello and welcome to the QuickBooks Community, magnoliabridgeho.

 

Let me share some information regarding the QuickBooks Workforce sign up.

 

I've checked our records and found an ongoing investigation that the employee Self-Setup option not saving on employee profile. Our engineers are already aware of this issue and are working on resolving it as soon as possible. 

 

As a workaround, you (employer) will have to enter all of the employees information into QuickBooks Online until this is resolved. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Online and go to Payroll.
  2. Select Employees, then click the Add an employee button.
  3. Enter the employee's first and last name, and email address, then turn off the Employee self-setup option.
  4. Click the Add employee button.
  5. Select the Edit link to add the employee details.  
  6. Hit Save once done.

I also recommend reaching out to our Payroll Support Team to add your company information to the affected user lists. This way, you will be notified once the issue is fixed.

  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
  2. Type Talk to a human and enter what do you need help with.
  3. Click No if none of the articles shared are helpful and select Chat with us or Have us call you.
