Is there any way to get a copy of my business W-3 forms from 2019?

Welcome to the Community, @mewardlaw.

Let me share info about acquiring previously filed W-3 forms

The W-3 form available in QBO is only for the employer’s copy. Moreover, the ability to find a copy of your 2019 W-3 form isn't possible since only the current and one prior year are accessible in the Archived forms and filings section in QuickBooks Online.

To have one you'll need to contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or your tax agency.

For more info about printing tax forms in the archived section, you can read this article: Print your W-2 and W-3 forms.

You might want to get a closer look at your business finances. Feel free to visit this article: Run payroll reports.

Never hesitate to leave a reply below if you have additional questions about acquiring data on your W-3 forms. I'll be willing to lend a hand. Have a good one.

The archived forms go back to 2022, there is nothing prior to that showing up.

Is there any way to get a copy of my business W-3 forms from 2019?

Hi, @mewardlaw

Thank you for performing the steps provided by my colleague to print a copy of your W-3 forms from 2019. Let me chime into this conversation and add further details.

Since QuickBooks Online (QBO) only keeps business W-3 form copies for the current year or one year prior, there isn't a way to print W-3 forms from 2019. As a workaround, you can get the copies from the IRS.

When you're ready to close your previous fiscal year and prepare for the new one, let me add this article as a reference: Year-end guide for QuickBooks Online.

Keep us posted if you still need assistance accessing your W-3 forms or if you have other QBO Payroll-related concerns. We're committed to offering ongoing support. Take care.
