Buy nowI'm trying to set up payroll for contractors and I'm having trouble verifying the bank account. Quickbooks sent me an email that they made two small verification deposits into my account. I don't see the deposits. I called and the customer service person was unable to help me. He told me to call my bank and they should be able to tell me the amount of the deposits. I called and they couldn't see any deposits either. I know the bank account is correct because it's the bank account that's already connected to quickbooks for accounting purposes. HELP!

Beforehand, let me give you information about it. After setting up your bank account in QuickBooks Online Payroll the transaction amounting to less than $1.00 will be posted to your bank within 2-3 days banking days.
If the amount hasn't been posted within the banking days mentioned. I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online Payroll support again, to verify your bank account as well as the two small verification deposits that were sent by QuickBooks into your account.

I can't verify the deposit amounts sent to my direct deposit account.
Hello there, @smtcjt.
Good to see you here in QuickBooks Community. I'll make sure you can verify your account for direct deposit to activate electronic payments and filing services in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP).
When you connect your bank account in QuickBooks Payroll, we run a test deposit of less than $1.00 to make sure we can process your direct deposits or tax payments with your bank. Once you have the test transaction amounts ready, please enter them in your QuickBooks Payroll without the decimal point.
Here's how:
I've also included a couple of detailed resources about working with payroll, which may come in handy moving forward:
Let me know in the comments if you have other payroll concerns and questions about the test deposit in QBO. I'm always ready to help.
