Late PTO approval

Hello,

 

I was late to approve some PTO requests. I now get the following message:

 

Request cannot be approved

This request falls within a pay period that is locked. You can either deny it or unlock the pay period.
 
How do I unlock the pay period?

Late PTO approval

Hello there,

 

You'll need to be the Admin within the account to get this time unlocked. Here's how:

 

  1. In QuickBooks Time, go to the QuickBooks dropdown and select Unlock Exported Time.
  2. Choose a Start Date and an End Date.
  3. Select All employees and choose individuals, groups of employees, or all employees to unlock time.
  4. Review the timesheets, then select Unlock Timesheets.
  5. In the notice that displays, click Confirm Unlock.

However, if you're already the Admin and the option is unavailable, you can chat with QuickBooks Time support to get help from an expert.
