Lead Time for Direct Deposit

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, userssgans.

Your direct deposit lead time depends on which payroll product you're using. If you're subscribed to QuickBooks Online Payroll, you'll have Same-day or Next-day direct deposit. In some instances, you might be on a 5-day lead time.

You can also view or change your funding time.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Gear icon, then go to Payroll settings.
  2. Scroll to your Direct deposit section. The accounts current funding time will be displayed above your limits.
  3. Click the Pencil (Edit) icon.
  4. Make your necessary changes. To request faster funding times, choose Request same-day payroll and follow the prompts.
  5. Select Save, then Done.

Requests will be reviewed within 1-2 business days and updates for a request will be sent to your payroll principle officier's email address.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with direct deposit which may come in handy moving forward: When to send your direct deposit payroll

I'll be here to help if there's any additional questions. Have a lovely Wednesday!
