Manage employee documents in Quickbooks online

Is there a way to upload and store employee onboarding documents (e.g., offer letter, handbook acknowledgement, arbitration agreement, etc...) in Quickbooks online somehow?

What about also tracking acceptance and signatures of these documents within the employee record?

Thanks for any tips or advice.

I appreciate you reaching out to the Community, @Josh01.

I see how relevant it is for you to be able to upload and store your employee's onboarding documents in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, this feature isn't available in QBO. In the meantime, I recommend sending your feedback and suggestions to our product developers. They'll be able to consider this option and assist you with your business demands in this manner.

To submit feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, click on Feedback.
  3. Share your feedback and click Save.

To check the status of your request, refer to this link: QuickBooks Online Customer Feedback.

As an alternative, I'd suggest saving all the employee's onboarding documents in a separate file in your software or computer and you'll add notes under the employee's details to track what documents are submitted or you have received from them.

Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, select Payroll in the left menu bar.
  2. Click Employees, and choose the exact employee.
  3. Select Notes, and click Add notes.
  4. Once done, click Save.

I've added a screenshot for reference.
