Manual payroll checks and payroll module

Hi, we normally use the payroll module to run payroll and pay via direct deposit.  In doing the year end review, I found that the first 3 months were paid via regular paper check.   The payroll expense and tax liabilities are correct in the GL but not in the payroll module and so the taxes are not correct when I try to do them in QB.  How do I get the payroll amounts correct in the payroll module?  This is in Quickbooks Online.

If the tax liabilities aren't showing correctly on the paystubs, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Support Team so that they can send a payroll correction to have it reflect accurately. Contacting them is super easy and takes just a few moments:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
