Medicare Missing

When I open the paycheck detail in payroll, I only have federal withholding and social security taxes being withheld.  My medicare is missing.  I looked at the month prior and medicare is being deducted correctly.
I've already gone into edited employee and making sure that ss and medicare are both checked and they are!  I am the only employee that doesn't have all of the items come up in the paycheck detail.  Federal withholding and social security are the only two that come up for me.
Other employees have medicare employee as well as medicare employee addl tax.

I even went in to adjust my payroll, I added medicare with 0.00 and still nothing.

Medicare Missing

Hi there, @Anonymous.

I'm here to help check why the Medicare is missing or not being deducted on your paycheck.

First, you can try to delete and create the paycheck. Before creating, make sure that the Medicare was checked under Taxes or Subject To. Also, please ensure that you have the updated tax table version.h2 medicare.PNG

Once done, try to check if Medicare withholding was deducted on your paycheck.

However, if the issue persists, I recommend reaching out with our Support Team to check and verify this further securely. For the support's contact information, you may check it here: Contact the QuickBooks Desktop Customer Support Team.

On the other hand, to learn more about payroll taxes, you may check this article: How QuickBooks calculates payroll taxes.

You can always add a post/comment below if you have any other QuickBooks or payroll concerns, I'll be always here to help you. Wishing you the best!
