Missing payroll history following salary adjustment

Hello, I am self-employed, have an LLC and use QBO payroll to manage my payroll (I am the only employee) and business taxes. I just gave myself a raise, and my entire payroll history prior to the raise has disappeared. I tried to go through the help chat, which was useless; I elected to get callbacks, which did not happen; and then I waited on hold for 59 minutes after calling a QB/Intuit help number that I found online (800-446-8848).

Any suggestions about what happened to my payroll history, and how to retrieve it? I need to apply for a car loan and need my pay stubs.

Missing payroll history following salary adjustment

We always strive to provide a positive support experience whenever a customer reaches out to us for assistance, lizzydynan. I can also see that your callback request did not meet our usual standards of service.

Please allow me to address this and provide you with the details you need to retrieve your payroll data. My goal is to make this right and ensure you receive the support you deserve.

Let's start by checking if a new profile was created when the salary amount was changed. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and proceed to the Employees tab.
  2. Select All employees to make sure you can see everything.
  3. Under the list of employees, check if there's another name that's added.
  4. If you can see another one, review each profile to check which one has the payroll data.

If you can only see one profile, browser or other technical issues can also cause the previous payroll information to disappear.

In this case, let me walk you through the steps to address common browser problems in QuickBooks Online.  Here's how:

  1. Use a private/incognito browsing session or restart your browser.
  2. Clear your browser's cache.
  3. Add Intuit as a trusted site.

Aside from that, you can also use the Audit log report to review what happened to your payroll transactions. This report records all account activity and changes made in your account.

Here's an article as your guide: Use The Audit Log In QuickBooks Online.

Lastly, you'll want to take advantage of QuickBooks Workforce. It's a website where you can upload your paystubs, view your time off balances, and W-2s at the end of the year.

Let me share these articles for additional details about this feature:
