My mileage stopped tracking months ago...is there a way to get past milage back?

Thanks for letting us know your mileage tracking concerns today. We can perform some troubleshooting and ensure that the auto-tracking feature is on. 

Refer to the steps below based on your mobile device: 

For Android 

1. Go to the Menu ☰ icon.
2. Click Mileage, then choose Auto-track your miles.
3. Then give QuickBooks permission to track your location.

For iOS

1. Click the Menu ☰ icon, then choose All.
2. Select Mileage, then click Auto-track your miles.
3. Follow Allow location access onscreen instructions.

After that, configure your device's location settings by following Step 2 outlined in this article: 

• Fix mileage tracking issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed for Android
• Fix mileage tracking issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed for iOS

For your past six (6) months' worth of mileage, you'll need to manually record them in the system.
